With over two decades of senior experience across public and private sector bidding, Andrew brings a rare combination of strategic judgement, commercial credibility and evaluator insight. He has operated at every level of the bidding ecosystem: commissioning services, evaluating submissions, leading national bid teams, advising boards, and building high-performing consultancies. Clients work with Andrew because they want more than well-written bids. They want clarity, confidence and defensible decisions in high-stakes, business-critical situations. In 2005, Andrew moved into professional bidding and business development. His experience includes: Business Development Director at Orchard & Shipman plc Leading five national bid teams at British Gas Founder of AM Bid, a multi-sector bid consultancy launched in 2014 Under Andrew’s leadership, AM Bid achieved independently audited win rates of around 85%, before being successfully sold in 2023. This blend of evaluator insight, in-house leadership and consultancy experience gives Andrew a perspective few bid professionals possess: he understands how bids are written, how they are experienced by evaluators, and how they are judged under pressure.
