Rebecca joined Tornado Wire as Chief Executive Officer in September 2024, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience in UK manufacturing and engineering-led businesses. She has held both Managing Director and CEO roles across industrial SMEs, with a career built around operational excellence, commercial growth and people-led leadership. Before joining Tornado Wire, Rebecca was Managing Director of Hydroscand UK and President of the British Fluid Power Association, where she worked closely with manufacturers, distributors and supply-chain partners across the UK and Europe. She also serves on Make UK advisory boards and is a passionate advocate for skills, apprenticeships and UK manufacturing. At Tornado Wire, Rebecca leads the overall strategy of the business, setting direction, aligning teams and ensuring the company continues to grow in a way that reflects Tornado Wire's values of quality, innovation and fairness. Her role spans everything from product and market strategy through to culture, sustainability and customer value, working closely with the leadership team to make sure the business delivers for customers, employees and partners. Day-to-day, Rebecca spends time across Tornado Wire's sites, with customers, and with teams throughout the business, listening, asking questions and helping remove barriers so people can do their best work. Rebecca is a STEM Ambassador and loves seeing young people discover how exciting modern manufacturing really is.
